What we collect, and what we don't.
Micro Legislation Tracker is in beta. This notice describes our privacy practices in plain language. Effective date: July 3, 2026. It may evolve as the product grows - we'll post changes here with a new effective date.
What we collect
Account email address and authentication state (via Firebase Authentication); your watchlist preferences (zip codes, cities, keywords); and, if you use the contact form, your name, email or phone number, organization (optional), and message.
Why we collect it
To create your account, match agenda items against your watchlist, deliver your digest emails, and respond to inquiries you send us. We don't collect more than that.
Where it's stored
On Google Cloud, in Firestore and BigQuery, hosted in a US region. Account authentication runs through Firebase Authentication.
Email delivery
Digest emails are sent via SendGrid. Contact-form messages are stored for review and we reply to you directly by email. We use your email address only to deliver the service you signed up for or to reply to you.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser storage for your signed-in session and a temporary draft of the signup preferences form (kept only in this tab, scoped to your account, and deleted when the form is submitted). There is no ad tracking and no third-party analytics cookie on this site.
No selling or sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors named above (Google Cloud, Firebase, SendGrid) who help us run the service.
Your choices
To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, email bheemender123@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Beta status
This is a beta product. Our data practices may change as we add features; we'll update this page and the effective date whenever they do, rather than changing them silently.
